Treat Me Like Somebody Page 10

“Hold up tho, you know that nigga Diesel got some change on ya brain, bruh.” Damion told Justice.

“Hell yea, I heard about that bullshit. That nigga ain’t man enough to take me out himself. So he got to get somebody to do it for him. It ain’t like I’m hiding out and shit. If he want me, he know where I be at. Unlike him, I got to move rivers and climb mountains just to get at his ass. That reminds me, good looking about that info on his traps. I want them shits burned the fuck down by the end of the week. Whatever y’all want in it, y’all can keep. Body everybody in them but one muthafucka. I want that nigga alive so he can go run and tell Diesel who hit his shit. It’s about time we lock the east back down. After we take back that side of town, I want that grimy nigga dealt with.” Justice said passing the blunt to Keke.

“That’s what’s up. You know we got you on that shit big homie, don’t even worry about it.” Damion said nodding his head. I noticed Keke was super quiet. He probably knew I was about to get in his ass about my work. I fucks with Keke, lil nigga got heart. But this was long overdue and he still didn’t know where my shit was. He gave me this sob story about one of his workers crack headed boyfriend stole the shit. Why he haven’t dealt with the bitch yet? I don’t know. I told him to bring the lady with him but from the looks of things, he wasn’t listening. I wasn’t going to keep putting this shit off and the only reason why I was letting him slide was because Damion is his cousin. Damion and me go way back, we’ve been home boys since we were little. He brought Keke my way when Justice went to jail. Now, I have to be the one to deal with this nigga before Justice do.

“What’s up Keke?” I asked him.

“What are you talking about?” he replied with a slight attitude.

“Nigga, you know what I’m talking about. Where the bitch at?” I said calm, feeling myself getting mad.

“Man, she in the back. Bruh, me and that lady got history.” He said like I gave a fuck.

“What I don’t get is why you haven’t handled her yet? All I know is, she could’ve had something to do with it. Friend or not, if you don’t handle it, I will. 2 keys nigga, one gram can get you killed.” Justice barked, I knew he was mad at how calm he was.

“Man, I can’t do anything to that lady yo, she raised me. I look at her like my mom Just, man.”

“I don’t give a fuck abo... go get the bitch, bring her here.” Justice said.

Keke walked to the back to get the lady. I already knew what was in store for her and Keke did too. Some niggas you got to make examples out of and it’s sad to say but it’s true.

The second he walked from the back with the lady my mouth dropped. Tuesday. I couldn’t believe Mya and Jaz’s mother was the bitch Keke was referring to this whole time. The fact that she didn’t look scared had me smiling. “She don’t look like an old bitch to me. Shit I’ll fuck the hell out of mama.” Justice said and dapped Damion up.

“Harlem,” she didn’t even look confused. “You’re not what I knew you were, though. Baby I reads people good. So, you’re the big boss man, huh? I never took you to be. I swear my daughters know how to pick them.” She laughed.

“You know this bitch, bruh?” Justice asked me.

“Lil nigga, watch yo mouth aite. If you gone do this, make it quick aite. I had better shit to do today.” She sassed.

“She’s their mother,” I said barley above a whisper.

  “What nigga, who?” Justice asked.

“Jaz and Mya, is Tuesday’s daughters. Bro, she is their mother.” I pointed over to Tuesday.

“Justice, Lord. So you’re the man that my other daughter can’t stop talking about. Humph, I swear those girls gone be the death of me.” Tuesday said.

Justice looked from her to me then back to her. I can tell he was embarrassed about calling Jaz mom a bitch just from the look on his face. He was literally stuck. I’m surprised he couldn’t tell who she was when Keke brought her from the back.

“Damn she is? Bruh, you ain’t gone do yo girl mom’s?” Damion asked.

“Nah, you know I can’t do that shit. I’m not going to be able to look Samya in the face, big bruh.” I told Justice. He was looking too calm and I ain’t like that shit. I hope he wasn’t still thinking about going through with this.

Justice was the type of nigga that didn’t care who you are. If you come between him getting his paper, he’ll murk our own people if he had to. What he need to look at is, this is Jaz’s mother we are talking about.

“My bad about all of this. I know this is a fucked up way to meet. I’m just the type of nigga that don’t like to be fucked around when it comes to my money. I’m sorry we had to meet like this for real.” Justice said and she looked relieved. “But I do need to know everything about your boyfriend, from where he and who he hang with, even down to his mother. You should already know what’s up when I catch him.”

“Look do what you got to do. When he stole from you, he stole from me. I needed that money; bills don’t pay themselves, you know and doing hair damn sure ain’t cutting it.” She said taking a half smoked blunt out of her Newport box. Justice chuckled looking over at me. I shook my head and told her don’t worry about it we’ll take care of her bills, and to let us know when or if she hear from her dude. She said ok and told Keke to take her home.

“I can’t believe you actually brought me the fuck up here.” She yelled. “You was going to let them kill me, weren’t you?”

“Hey, better you then me. I’m still young.” Keke joked.

“You little motherfucka, I changed yo shitty drawers. I should’ve let yo ass starve.” She went in on him the whole way out.

“Man, can you believe that’s Jaz and Mya’s mama?” Justice said shaking his head.

“She’s not really Samya’s mother, she just raised her since she was little. But what I can’t believe is that you actually said you would fuck yo girl’s mama, that shit is nasty, nigga.” I said and laughed along with Damion.

“Man that was before I knew she was Jaz mother, so that don’t count. Besides, you can’t tell me if she wasn’t Samya’s mom, you wouldn’t smash.” He said and I looked at him like he was crazy.

  “HELL YEA!”

“Shit, I still might fuck, she’s not my girl’s mother.” Damion said and we all started laughing.

  CHAPTER 16

  PRINCE

  DING DONG, DING DONG

I had just sat down to try and enjoy this burger and fries I got from Mickey D’s, when somebody rung my bell. I wasn’t going to answer it but looking down at the food, had me wishing it was Jaz. “Man, I hope that’s my baby,” I said and jumped up to go get it.

Ever since Jaz so called left a nigga, I haven’t been eating as good. She was playing this little game better than I thought she would. It has only been a few months and the bitch went out and got a new apartment, she really thought she was through with a nigga. I knew for sure she would’ve caved by now and brought her ass home. She hasn’t called or texted me and she ignore all my calls. My world felt empty without my baby. I wanted to talk to her so bad that I even created a Facebook page.

I walked up to the door and peeped out the peep hole. “Ima have to kill this bitch,” I said snatching the door opened.

“Fuck you want?” I asked hoping she catches the attitude and jet.

“What do you mean why am I here? Prince, we need to talk. You can’t keep avoiding me.” Malissa replied

“Bitch, I aint avoiding you. I’m just not rocking with yo dumb ass any more. That shit you said to my girl was fucked up Lissa. You was the main one saying how you didn’t care if I had a girl but you say some shit that you knew would hurt Jaz.”

“Prince, I am the one that’s pregnant, or have you forgotten that? Your precious little Jaz whooped my ass that night and all you cared about was that bitch feelings getting hurt and you say I’m the one that’s fucked up? WOW really Prince? You didn’t even try and stop her, she was about to kick me in the stomach.”

  “That’s
on you yo, if you knew you couldn’t fight you should’ve stayed yo ass around back. Jaz has been telling yo ass when she catches you what was going to happen. What you thought, because me and her wasn’t together, she was just going to forget about all the shit you took her through, posting pictures and tagging her name in it? Let’s not forget about that fucking video, yo.” I smiled and shook my head.

“Look Prince, I’m not here to argue with you alright. Can we please just talk?”

“If it’s about you being pregnant, miss me with that shit, aite.” I said walking away. She closed the door and followed behind me. The day I went to approach Malissa about that video, she told me she found out she was 12 weeks pregnant. We got into a big argument over it and I did like most men do and denied it. I knew it was a chance I could be the father of her baby but I know for a fact I’m not the only nigga she was fucking with. I did see that fucking video and I must say the bitch got balls. I brought her over one day when Jaz had to work a double shift. To make a long story short, I wanted some pussy and Jaz was at work. Malissa called saying she missed me and I told her to come through. If I would’ve known I was going to lose my girl, I would’ve just jacked off.

“What do you mean miss you with it? Prince, this is your baby I’m caring. I’m pregnant by you!” she said taking a seat on the edge of my recliner.

“Man, you know damn well that ain’t me in you. Find you another sucker ma, ‘cause I ain’t him. I always strap up.”

“Do you know who you are talking to? When do we ever use rubbers? Who is the one always saying ‘they take away the feeling’? I bet you if I was that bitch Jaz, you wouldn’t be denying this baby.”

“First of all, don’t get fucked up. Keep my woman name out your mouth, she is not here to defend herself and I’m not about to have you calling her out her name. Second, hell yea I won’t be denying my child with Jaz because I’ll be 100 percent sure that she is carrying my child. Unlike you, she was my lady. Somebody I was going to spend the rest of my life with but you just had to go and fuck that up, thinking it was going to make you my main bitch.” I laughed and sparked my blunt that was sitting on the coffee table. “You not even my side bitch anymore because of that shit.”

“I just wanted to secure our family. I’m about to have your baby, Prince. My child deserves a two parent household.”

“Well you need to go find that nigga and tell him that, instead of trying to trap me.” I inhaled on the blunt and coughed a little.

  KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK

We were still arguing when I heard somebody knocking on my front door. “Man shut up! Who the fuck you brought to my house?” I asked grabbing my gun from under my seat. I checked the clip and cocked it back.

“What? Nobody even knows I’m here. Maybe it’s your girl.” She sounded scared. I almost laughed out loud seeing her trying to hide. I shook my head and left to go see who it was. I was praying it was Jaz; it was about time she came to her senses and brought her ass back home. When I opened the door, nobody was there. I stepped outside to see if I saw anybody. I walked around the side of the house but I didn’t see anybody. When I got back to the front I noticed a brown envelope on the ground. It had my name written on it in big bold letters. “The fuck is this?” I asked myself before picking it up. I looked around once more before going back in the house. I locked the door and looked out the window. I know this bitch ain’t got nobody playing at my door. I said referring to Malissa. Jaz wouldn’t do no childish shit like this.

I opened the envelope to see a letter and a few pictures. IF YOU WANT REVENGE CALL THIS NUMBER BY THE END OF NIGHT. I sat the letter on the counter to look at the pictures. The more I looked the madder I became. I can’t believe Jaz would do some shit like this. I know what I did to her was wrong but if she was trying to get back at me this wasn’t the way to do it. I looked through the many pictures of Jazmyn and my big homie. There was pictures of them on dates, at the club, him picking her up from school, even pics of him getting out his car walking up to her apartment. The last picture had me wanting to kill both their asses.

“This is fucked up,” I yelled throwing the pictures across the room. This explains why he was playing captain save a hoe the night of his cook out. He was the reason she was trying to play me to the left and not answer any of my calls. I knew she was fucking with another nigga to be avoiding me but never in a million years would I have guessed that nigga was Justice. That same nigga that I worked for and would body my ass quick if he even thought I was out to get him. I needed to think of something and fast. I can’t have Jaz fucking with Justice, that shit is fucking embarrassing. How would it look in the streets that I lost my girl to my big homie? Hell nawl, that shit can’t fly.

I walked back to my living room and grabbed my phone off the charger. I dialed Jaz’s number, only to get her voicemail. I called right back two more times and I was going to keep calling until she picked the fuck up. I didn’t give a damn if it takes all day.

“Is everything alright?” Malissa said coming out the coat closet. I wanted to laugh at her scary ass but was too mad about this shit with Jaz.

“Malissa, it’s time for you to go.” I said redialing Jaz number.

“I aint going anywhere. We haven’t talked yet or came to an understanding about this baby, so until then.” She took a seat on the couch and crossed her legs.

“There’s nothing to understand! That aint my baby. Like I said before, go find the father because I aint him. I know how you get down, or have you forgotten how we met.” I said and smirked.

  “Fuck you, Prince!” she screamed.

“You’ll never hop on this pogo stick again.” I grabbed my dick before sending Jaz a text. Malissa rolled her eyes and reached for the remote to the TV.

Me: what the fuck I do to you that was so bad your trifling ass choose to fuck with him out of all people.

I was debating on whether or not to pop up at her spot but I didn’t want to run into Justice. I called her four more times and said fuck it, “That’s a chance I’m willing to take.” I dialed her number again, grabbed my keys off the coffee table when I heard her voice.

“What Prince, why the fuck do you keep calling me? Keep on and ima block yo ass.” She answered and I was happy just to hear her voice.

“We need to talk, let me come see you?”

“NO, not going to happen. Say what you need to say so you can stop blowing up my phone.”

“I miss you,” I said and could feel Malissa staring at me. I cut my eyes over at her and she looked like she wanted to pop off. I walked out the room before she had a chance to say anything.

“Look, I don’t have time for this. Stop calling my fucking phone.”

“So it’s true, huh?” I asked before she could hang up.

  “What’s true, Prince?”

  “You fucking with that nigga.”

“What nigga?” she said pissing me off.

“Don’t get fucked up Jaz. You know who I’m talking about. Justice, that’s who! All these niggas in Charlotte and you let Justice talk you out yo draws.” I said really trying to see if she fucked the nigga or not.

“Prince, I haven’t fucked anybody but if I ever choose to that’s my business. What part of we are not together don’t you understand? Besides, I didn’t know you worked for him until after that night you tried to kill me or have you forgotten about that.” She laughed.

“Don’t try and switch this shit up on me. After you found who he was, you should’ve left him alone, out of respect for me.”

“Respect? You want to talk about respect? Respect is not bringing your side bitch to a house I was living and fucking her in a bed I was sleeping in. Respect is not telling the bitch walk around in my fucking bath robe. Respect is not constantly cheating on me like it’s a second job. Don’t forget about the bitch is pregnant by yo dumb ass. Should I keep going?”

“Jaz, you don’t think I know what I put you though. I regret that shit every day I wake up and you not lying next to
me. I took you for granted because I never thought you would actually leave me. I’m sorry about everything I have ever done to you. I miss you and I need you with me. I can’t take this shit no more, Jaz. If it’s going to take the rest of my life telling you I’m sorry, then so be it. Just forgive me, bae. Let me show you a nigga can change.” I asked pleading my case.

“Prince, you are having a baby with another woman. I’ll never forgive you. EVER! I’m trying to better myself. We are better apart than together.”

“Fuck you talking about we better apart? You don’t have any idea what I’ve been going through. I can’t function without you Jaz. A nigga ain’t been himself lately.” I said pacing the floor back and forth. She was quiet and that was killing me. “Let me come see you, this phone shit aint me.”

  “I can’t, Prince!”

“Come on, ma. I promise I won’t be on no shit. I just want to see you. We can meet where ever you want.” I said praying she say yeah.

“Aite, I’ll text you where to meet me.”

“That’s what’s up, aite just let me know.”

  “Ok, bye.”

  “I love you, bae.”

“You pushing it, nigga” she said and hung up. I was happy as hell. I needed to get Malissa out the spot. It was time for me to get fresh, so I could bring my baby back home.

  CHAPTER 17

  SAMYA

As soon as Harlem left the house, I rushed to get ready. I had already texted Bryan saying I would meet and for him to give me an hour. I’m glad I already had clothes at Harlem’s or else I would’ve had to go all the way back home just to change.

I threw on some grey high waist leggings, a black crop top tee with the words STUCK and had a middle finger pointing up in blue lettering. I put on my grey and blue ‘lady liberty’ retro Jordan’s and my long 26 inch Peruvian weave was bone straight. I smoothed some Chap Stick on my lips and grabbed Harlem’s’ black and blue snapback and looked myself over in the mirror.
